Last friday i have given an introductory presentation at the Seminar for students writing their diploma thesis or doing their internship at the Information Retrieval Group. I was contrasting the conventional communities labelling themselves with ‘web 2.0′ with a rather decentral way of community building and, in this case, photo sharing and how looks like employing groups:

Hi Marian,
Congrats again for the great work. Early this month we had an Information Architecture Retreat in Chile and one of the presentations from the Brazilians who came was a flog, as they call it. This one belongs to their huge media group, Globo, and it’s called 8P, you may want to check it out.
best wishes
javier
Hi Javier,
thanks for the hint. The presentation looks interesting, even though their approach seems to be rather centralized. I like how they documented their design process.
Saludos a Santiago
